Pierce County Lights

Pierce County LightsAs a Real Estate Agent I get to drive all over the Puget Sound area. This time of year there are many neighborhoods that have really impressive light displays. Here are a few.

In Puyallup there are many neighborhoods that have wonderful light displays. The Country Hollow/Silver Creek area off of 176th and Meridian or Gem Heights neighborhood has a lot of lights up and is a nice neighborhood to drive through.

The Crystal Ridge neighborhood off of Shaw Road has an impressive light display that is set to music. It will be easy to find there will be a crowd!

If you find yourself in Gig Harbor check out the Wildwood Estates off of 40th. Nearly every house has lights up.

It has been a holiday tradition in my family to drive through the Fantasy Lights at Spanaway Park. They run until January 1st, 2014. The cost is $13 per vehicle or $45 if you have a friend with a bus. The hours are 5:30-9:00 pm nightly. This is one of the largest displays in the Northwest and it is worth the trip.

Another special place to go to see lights is the Point Defiance Zoo. The ZooLights are also on every night except December 24th until January 5st, 2014. Check the website www.pdza.org for information on admission.

Don’t forget to drive safe while you are checking out all the wonderful lights! If you know of any noteworthy light displays please mention them in the comments section! I would love to check out your favorites.
